About Women's Book Club


Ladies, you're invited to join our Women's Book Club—a place for connection, conversation, and growing in faith and friendship together! We’ll be reading Bread of Angels by Tessa Afshar, a beautifully written novel that tells the inspiring story of Lydia, the first European convert to Christianity. Set in ancient Philippi, Lydia’s journey through betrayal, hardship, and healing is one of resilience, faith, and the power of friendship.

Book Club Details:

  •  Bread of Angels by Tessa Afshar, the book is available for purchase on all major platforms including audiobook

  •  For women ages 18 and older

  • Meets once a week for 11 weeks

  •  Location: Church Prayer Room

  • Start date: Wednesday, September 10th Time: 6:30-8:00pm

  •  Please read Chapters 1–3 before the first meeting

  •  Bring your favorite snack to share

  •  Childcare is not available at this time
